(Sam Finn sits comfortably in his WPVN chair, sipping casually at a glass of water. He's dressed the same as ever, with his sunglasses sitting on the table and his red hair all over the place. Chazz Carson sits next to him, with the again absent Beast Carry.)
CHAZZ CARSON: So, Sam. How do you feel about being 'taken to school' by Kyle Roberts?
STORM: I know he's a legend and everything, and I used to watch his matches before I joined up, but he's not getting any younger. He's found dozens of matches, had dozens of wins and dozens of losses, and I definately have a lot to learn from this guy; but -
CHAZZ CARSON: Before you keep going, Sam, can I get a word about your spanking by Dio Muerte?
STORM: I guess you could say I was somewhere else for that match.
STORM: As I was saying, I have a lot to learn from this, but he's got weaknesses, just like anyone else, and I'm going to exploit them.
CHAZZ CARSON: Anything else to say to Stylin' Kyle?
STORM: Well, Kyle. Don't lecture me on my broadcasts, alright? I'm preeetty sure I know what I'm doing. Oh, and don't make a crack about me no-showing on that last one. That's the past now. Just like I don't give a damn about you assaulting your partner. Now stop shopping and go train.
(The WPVN program ends, with a Toyota commercial, but there is only blackness.)
Death.
The Grim Reaper is part of nature, dealing itself out to nature's inferior and unlucky, but always striking man in the end.
The school is burning now. Surrounded by a dense forest, none of the trees or grass is even crisped, yet the school burns away.
"I'm going to take you to school!"
Are you? Or are you trapped, inside the burning building? Are you being slowly given Death? Are you pressing your hands against the windows, kicking the door and screaming? You are.
The classic battle of man versus nature. In the end, aren't both sides harmed? It will be a battle of blood and bruises, but nature isn't giving any ground. Nature is eternal and ever-powerful.
Mankind, sadly, isn't.
