www.virtualapple.org/oregontraildisk.htmlIn this thread, I'll update you all on the state of my game. Day 1: Leaving. May 1, 1848 Carpenter from Ohio (picked this for the ability to repair the wagon quicker) Party: Rex, Static, LDK, Salty, Cash Bought: 5 yokes oxen - $200 2000 lbs food - $400 15 sets clothing - $150 100 rounds ammo - $10 4 spare parts (2 wheels, 1 axle, 1 tongue) - $40 TOTAL - $800 LEFT - $0 May 8, 1848: Kansas River Crossing, Broken Wagon Wheel. Ironically, couldn't fix the wheel. Good thing I bought two. River is 616 feet across, 3.1 feet deep. Decided to ford it (wade across). Bad idea. Lost a wheel, a wagon tongue, 1412 pounds of food, an ox, and Salty. RIP. May 13, 1848: Big Blue River crossing. River is 229 feet across, 2.3 feet deep. Now this we can ford. Or... Not so much. Wagon tips over... And the Oregon Trail Crimes are all at the bottom of the Big Blue River. Well, except for Salty, he's about 90 miles back. Did I mention that I was never good at this game?

Man, even when TRYING to kill my pioneers, I don't think I ever lost 'em that quickly...
My classmates and I would try to get the record for closest tombstone to the beginning of the game.
