What is your take on this thought?Deven very reluctant to answer, seems to push the words out....Deven Darkeyes: Mike and Mikhail ARE good competitors, but they have not seen what I can bring to the table. Don't get me wrong I have my douts about this match, but I mean come on I'm versing one guy who calls himself the Assman. Thats just plain out cocky in my oppinion. Fade in on The Assman with a swarm of his lady fans, and other miscellaneous Assoholics. Coincidentally, he is handing out black t-shirts with "I'M AN ASSOHOLIC!" and Assman giving a big thumbs up on the t-shirt. He himself is wearing a "TITS N ASS" with "HOW DO YOU EAT YOURS?" across the back. Tittylover gives an approving smile from the front of the shirt, while The Assman's ass occupies the back space. The crowd are cheering, and Dr. Tittylover is missing out here, as one of the lady fans lifts up a shirt and throws it at The Assman. It's all breaking loose here!
Assman: Ok guys, settle down, settle down. Quickly I need to address my opponents for the upcoming match. Devin and Mikhail will feel exactly why I've been causing such a storm in REBEL since it opened. Let's face it, no other wrestler in REBEL has had as much fan attention as yours truly (a huge pop from the crowd) - and we all know why. I don't come here just seeking glory. This is a great fed, a small, independent one. If these guys truly deserve glory, they'd have found their way into larger feds. But they haven't, and I think that speaks for itself. Myself, I am happy here at REBEL (again, the crowd screams and throws panties and bras at The Assman) - I am pure REBEL. I don't double-time with NAPW or any other fed, and I'm not here just to seek glory and try and trash talk and beat down everyone else. I'm here for the fans. I go out there two Tuesday's a month and I get myself hurt, and I pull of moves and get the crowd INTO the match. I don't go out there thinking I'm the greatest wrestler ever to enter the squared-circle and wrestle and get the hell out. It's people like that that ruin wrestling today.
The crowd quieten down as the feel The Assman is about to say something they all want to hear.
The Assman: You fans truly appreciate what I do. You come to the events, you support me, you cheer for me, you come to meets like this. And in return, you know I'll try my very best to give you a match worth your money and I'll try and top myself every single time I get out there, month after month. I don't think that titles are completely irrelevant, indeed they show you manage to fight your way and are the top wrestler in REBEL, the best wrestler in the Carolinas Division, whatever. But on a more personal level, the titles themselves mean little to nothing. I've had little chance to win things in my career. As a boxer before I did this... well, there wasn't much opportunity for anything there - unlicensed boxing fights aren't the best place to pick up trophies. And my early indie days I moved around too much to get a feel for the promotion. But REBEL is different. REBEL is my home, and I'm not just here to try and fight my way to the top of the singles ladder. I'm here to fight my way to the very top - of myself. I want to use REBEL as a way to better myself, to get myself to the very peak of what I can be, to challenger myself every month. I know I;m going to be fighting Mikhail and Deven this week, but more importantly, I'm going to be fighting against everything I've ever done previously. I'm going to fight against that and I'm going to win. and in the end will be my best performance so far. Ever.
The crowd show their appreciation to The Assman!
The Assman: But its also about you guys. I'm making you a promise, that no matter what else happens in the rest of the night, the triple-threat match with me will be incredible. At least from me. I asked Dr. Tittylover last week to step up, to give a good, clean, great wrestling match. And he did. I'm going to say that that was one of the best matches REBEL has put on, if only for sheer competition. We were two friends, tag team partners, eccentric and individual characters, and what we did was settle a score. No hard feelings, no huge rivalry. We gave it our all, and I think that showed.
The crowd give a pop to show it did show, and they recognised it too.
The Assman: So this three way match, this is more of a fight for myself. I hope these two guys will step up and show me how they got to be in REBEL, and why they feel they are worthy to stay here. And I hope you fans give them a chance, let them try and prove themselves to you. But if they don't - if these guys come in and don't care about what this thing is all about, they will feel me, and they feel the mat. Because if anyone steps into the squared circle with me and they don't show it the respect they deserve... I'll show it to them.
The scene fades out as The Assman throws more shirts into the crowd and the fans go nuts.

Fade in to The Assman sat on a chair in a tv studio, filming for the local networks morning tv entertainment programme, sat across from him a rather fetching young blonde woman dressed quite casually, and about to interview The Assman. The Assman is wearing jeans, and one of his trademark selection of black shirts, this time with "The A MAN is REBEL" on it. Obviously toning down the language for the audience.
Woman: So... Mike Trey is here in the studio, otherwise known by his in ring name - which you should know if you check out REBEL already. He's been making a storm in the local community, even stranger because he isn't from around here, Mike originates from England, in the UK. We've got him on the show here this morning, spreading the word about REBEL Pro Wrestling, and its upcoming event this Tuesday night. For more information, visit the REBEL website - scrolling on the screen now.
She straightens up and turns to The Assman.
Woman: Mike, although you've not been going for any actual REBEL championships, the fans have still created a huge stir about you. Why do you think this is?
The Assman pulls out one of his great huge grins, and begins to answer the question.
Assman: Well, Mel, I think the REBEL fans respect what I', trying to do. I understand that pro wrestling is about the fans. I honestly don't think anyone else would bother coming to a REBEL event to wrestle if those fans weren't there. It's much more than just being about wrestling people, its also about giving the fans what they want, and I really try to do that and I think they know it.
Mel: So why do you think that the booking staff at REBEL haven't given you a shot at any real gold yet?
Assman: Its fairly simple Mel. The guys at REBEL realise the fans view me as REBEL. When someone says REBEL, they don't immediately think of the Heavyweight champion Rex Calibur, or the tag champs The Foundation, or even the Carolinas champ, who at the moment is Murcielago. They think of me. And I believe the reason I'm in this match this Tuesday is to try these two new REBEL wrestlers out, let them see what its like to be in the ring at REBEL, and be in the ring WITH REBEL. Hopefully both men can pull out all the stops and give the fans a real match they deserve.
Mel: Well... After your partnership with The Mad Doctor ended in the very first REBEL event, and seemed to be revived back again last week, where does that lead TNA?
Assman: The team of me and The Doc... Well, we are third in line for a shot at the tag team titles, and so its all up to the REBEL booking staff to put us in a match together. We will undoubtedly win, I can't see a stronger team in REBEL yet, who could do what we did and come out shaking hands and raising both hands up together after the match. I've said t before, and I'll say it again, that that is probably one of the best - if not the best - match the REBEL fans have ever seen us put on. It was a true show of wrestling, none of the glitsy run ins from other wrestlers, no backstabbing behind the referee, no weapons while the referee is down. It was pure wrestling, and wrestling at its best there.
Mel: I was lucky enough to see that match, I thought it was incredible. Back on subject though, how do do you feel REBEL compares with the bigger feds out there, and any others you've been in?
Assman: Well, REBEL relies on pure wrestling, some of it hardcore, bone to metal, anything goes style of wrestling, and some like mine. The technical, clean matches. It caters for every fan, and we guarantee every time you come to a REBEL event with me in it, you will be guaranteed at least one great match. The bigger feds that rely on Hollywood style storylines that just get in the way of wrestling... I've never been a fan of them. I've always felt the smaller indy feds had the best opportunities in wrestling. You get to be close to the fans, they get to know you - even without a TV deal, and you get much better interaction. and the fact you aren't guaranteed viewers means every week you try your damn hardest to make sure you get the fans to come back. I feel I've been both lucky and not in this respect. I am lucky that the fans have taken so warmly to me, but I don't rely on luck when i go out there every week. I've been in every single REBEL event, and I think that says something. I've done by best every week to make sure the fans notice and the REBEL staff notice it.
Mel: How much do you know about your two opponents in this week's event? Mikhail Kharitonov and Deven Darkeyes?
Assman: I've been told about both of them, and seen a few matches of each, but you can never really tell until you get into the ring with them. I think the fact REBEL hired these two speaks for itself, but that hasn't proved them yet, no where near. This week I will show them how REBEL works, and hopefully afterwards they'll have a newfound respect for wrestling. I heard what Deven had to say, and I have to say, it sounded like another one of those egotistical larger than life wrestlers that seem to be flooding the business nowadays. Gone are the days of the basic technical wrestler. But hey, to each generation its own, and I do respect a lot of wrestlers like that, there are truly some great athletes around. But this is REBEL, and I think REBEL staff put me in this to really teach these two kids what this business is about, and more specifically, REBEL. As I said, I am REBEL, and they have to beat me if they are truly going to understand how to win over REBEL.
Mel: Do you have a message for these two if they are watching?
Assman: Indeed I do. Deven, Mikhail... Come this Tuesday, this match, I will break you, I will hurt you, and I will make you ache for days afterwards. Because if you come to that ring with anything less than your very best, that's the least of your worries. This is REBEL you're in now, and we expect the very best. The fans expect the very best. They expect what I do to be coming out of you. They want the very pinnacle of your performance. No matter how small that will be, the fans will recognise it, and they will accept you. This is your test this week. and I am your final exam. But you can't revise for this, you can't practice for it. You just have to give it your all.
Mel: Well, we'll have to wait until this Tuesday for the match, but it looks to be a great event. Come support your local wrestling promotion this Tuesday folks. Coming up after the break...
Scene fades out.

Fade in to The Assman's bathroom. Notably his shower. The glass slides open and through the steam out comes a hand reaching for a nearby towel. He steps out from the steam, revealing quite possibly the finest looking human specimen ever created. Wrapped in a towel from the waist down. He whips out a grin, and holds the towel in place as he begins to talk.
The Assman: Deven, Mikhail, I'm just here to give you a word of advice before our match. It's coming up pretty soon. I'm not going to go easy on you two, and I'm certainly not going to let you two go easy on me. If i see either of you giving anything less than your best, I'm going to teach you a lesson. The fans at that event, they paid money to watch something good. And if I'm going out there and giving it everything I've got for them, I damn well expect you to do the same.
He moves round the shower and out the door to the bedroom. A large double bed is neatly made up there, and The Assman opens a wardrobe door and steps out of view behind it.
The Assman: So I'm giving you three options. You come out there and beat me half heartedly, you come out there and beat me giving it everything you've got, or you come out there and lose to me with everything you've got.
He steps back out from the wardrobe, only his top half visible, but he is, yes, completely naked.
The Assman: If the first option happens... Well... We'll come to that if we reach it. But let me tell you something. We won't even come near. Because if you even dare try and pin me after a match of rubbish, crap wrestling... I will not let that happen. No matter what you do to me. Because thats more than just disrespecting me. Thats disrespecting the company you now work for, and more importantly. Its disrespecting the fans. So think now, what are you going to do. Because I will not be choosing from three choices. I have only one, and that's to go out there and give it everything I've got. So we'll figure out the rest in the ring. But enough of you two. Theres something I have to clear up. A lot of my female fans have been wanting to see exactly what The Assman looks like. So, ladies, here it is. This is the ultimate wiggle.
The Assman turns around as the camera lowers. He places his hands on his hips and.... WIGGLE! Wow, even I'm hot and flustered after that one! He turns back round as the camera lifts up, gives a big Assman grin and the camera fades to black.
