PATRICK BICKLE VS JEFF JAMES
"The Number Song" begins to play and the crowd goes wild. Patrick Bickle, with Mr. Maps, walks out into the Polish Hall frenzy. Patrick just gazes into the crowd almsot in awe of the response and enters the ring. His hurt shoulder is taped up. He awaits his opponent, who enters to the sounds of AKForty. Jeff James, with Saki, comes out to a chorus of jeers. The fans have quickly shown that they are behind Bickle. James is minus the Television Title that was lost Friday Night to The Yellow Chicken. Jeff does have his chance to become number one contender this Friday on Action. Morgan Smythe is the referee and calls for the bell to start this contest. Bickle is going with a new style tonight, lets see how it does. The two athletes circle each other and lock up. Side head lock applied by Jeff James. Bickle shoots him off and Jeff eats a shoulder block off the rebound. OH, BUT IT WAS BICKLE'S HURT SHOULDER! Bickle is shaking his arm and Jeff is up quick, but taken down even quicker with a arm drag. Bickle applies a standard arm-bar, that grounds the multi skilled James. Bickle lets go and hits a dropkick to the head of the seated James. Saki is yelling at Jeff to get going. Bickle goes for the arm again, and applies a cross arm-breaker that would make Frank Mir proud. UFC reference! Back to action... Jeff scrambles to get to the ropes. He has them. Morgan counts One, Two and Bickle releases. Jeff to the outside and is holding his arm. Saki is massaging it. Bickle bounces off the ropes and then STOPS. He was looking for a possible suicide dive, but stopped, having thought better of it. Jeff is allowed to enter the ring at the count of Seven. The new style of Bickle is being shown immediately. James isn't wrestling the same guy he saw on film.
The two less fresh, slightly banged up wrestlers, once again circle one another. Jeff shoots for a leg, ala Sabu, and trips Bickle. Jeff James with a quick leg-drop to the taped shoulder of Bickle. Bickle yells in pain. Jeff applies a reverse cross arm breaker. Bickle is face down getting his arm stretched toward his shoulder blade, with James' legs covering the back and head of Bickle. A very unusual, very painful hold. Jeff smashes Bickle in the head with his calf. James lets go and stands up. He kicks the shoulder of Bickle who writhes in pain, turning to his stomach. Bickle slowly gets up and is hit with a belly to belly suplex. James covers.
One...
Two...
NO! Kick-out by Bickle. Jeff picks the One Hundred Seventy Five pound Bickle up and SIDE EFFECT. Bickle rolls out of the ring in desperation. He is laying on the floor in pain. Jeff follows. Morgan starts her count over. One... Two... Bickle is getting up. Jeff runs in with the Jumping Super-kick that... IS BLOCKED. Bickle grabs the foot, sweeps the other leg and stomps the midsection of James. Bickle in the ring at Six. He goes up top quickly. WILL HE DO IT!? WILL HE DIVE? No... He gets down and then rolls out, starting the count over. He brings Jeff into the ring. Jeff nails Bickle in the stomach, and hooks in the Arm Triangle, followed with the Face-buster. He holds the choke in place. Bickle is fading quickly. His shoulder is in pain, he is getting choked and he...
GETS TO THE ROPES! Jeff refuses to let go. Morgan is up to the count of Four and he finally releases it. Jeff is getting frustrated. He sees signs of life in Bickle. He pounces on Bickle who is hurt badly. Jeff applies a reuglar triangle choke. Bickle is gasping for air. Morgan Smythe picks up his arm. It FALLS. Again and it FALLS. The chants of "BICKLE" fill the sold out Polish Hall. Morgan raises the arm a final time and it...
STAYS UP. Jeff lets go, and is in the face of Morgan. She doesn't back down and now Saki is up on the apron. Morgan gives a warning to both of them. They continue to argue. Jeff James goes back over to Bickle who is up and quickly executes a flawless swinging neck-breaker, directly in the middle of the ring. He follows it up with his favorite submission hold from his training... which is named:L ROLL THE CREDITS. It's his version of the Anaconda Vice and Jeff James is going to have his arm broke soon, unless he gets out. He refuses to give up. Bickle reaches deep inside and applies MORE pressure. Jeff James is screaming. He refuses to quit. He can't get to the ropes, he can't reverse it. HE HAS TO THINK ABOUT HIS CAREER AND HIS UPCOMING MATCHES... PRIDE IS NOT LETTING HIM TAP!
HE IS HOLDING ON FOR DEAR LIFE AND FINALLY...
JEFF JAMES TAPS OUT! The pain was too much.
Bickle lets go of the move and raises his arm in victory. Jeff James looks disgusted and is holding his arm. He went longer in that move than most men would. The frustration cost Jeff the match. His temper got the best of him, and he let his opponent get up. Great contest from both guys. How will future opponents respond to the NEW PATRICK BICKLE?
THEN...
Boos reign down, as “Perfection” Evan Cartwright has hit the aisle.
EVAN: Hey, Bickle... I got a problem and you.. YOU SIR of all people, can actually help me solve it. My dance card for Hostile Hangover is a little bit empty. No... It’s VERY EMPTY. You got this new style and I think you should test it against the “Perfect Style.” Let's go Pure Honor to make it that much better. You're a former Pure Honor champ, I'm the future of that Division. Let me know... Unless you’re style has turned you (BLEEP). Fighting me would be afterall, rather... HIGH RISK. Watch me later and take a look at the “Perfect Performance.”
Bickle stares a ray of disdain through Cartwright. How will he respond?
Joseph Winchell is shown on the video screen, standing near a mesh basket gadget, constructed for the LETHAL LOTTERY! He has a buxom Brunette by his side.
WINCHELL: Let's start this thing. But before I do let me make a few match announcements. At Hostile Hangover Dez Carter will take on Simply Beautiful and his Pure Honor Cup will be on the line, as Simply Beautiful has requested.
The winner of Action's TV Title match will defend against the winner of the Number One Contender match.
D! will defend his NAPW heavyweight belt against Lloyd Rees in a Thirty Minute Iron Man Match.
Plus the already announced Royal Cage Match for the NAPW Tag Team Championship. There will be more matches added later.
The Brunette grabs the handle and mixes the names up. They're in envelopes. Winchell stops it and grabs one envelope.
WINCHELL: The first match of Lethal Lottery will have KRUSTY KID PAUL...
He graps another envelope.
WINCHELL: His partner will be...
NORTH T. GUNDERSON. Their opponents will be....
Winchell grabs another envelope.
WINCHELL: EVAN CARTWRIGHT! and... (grabbing the last envelope needed) RAVAGER!! Stay tuned for the other three drawings.
An NAPW graphic goes across the screen stating:

-PURE HONOR RULES-
"Outlaw" PATRICK KIDD VS "SUPERSTAR" THOMAS DEATHROW
"Man in the Box" blares over the PA. The Superstar has arrived... He walks to the ring, dancing grossly to the ring. He stands in a corner. Boy Hits Car's song "Rebirth" leads in Patrick Kidd. The two go to the center of the ring and do the mandatory handshake. Begrudgingly!
Ring the bell! It's Pure Honor Rules and Patrick Kidd is diving in HANDS-FIRST by unloading a nice, stiff chop into Deathrow's chest. WHOO! Deathrow winces from the shot, strokes his chest--to get the feeling back, I'm told--and eats another chop WHOO! from a slap-happy Kidd. But the SUPERSTAR has got chops of his own! That's once! WHOO! Twice! WHOO! Three times! WHOOOO! And a wild swing sees Deathrow back-hand Kidd across the face, Big Pimp-style. Returning referee Anthony Uruburu cautions Deathrow, who weakly insists that his hand must have somehow "slipped". The argument gives Kidd the moment he needs to shake it off, and Uruburu turns around just in time to move!Kidd charges in, but Deathrow's got him scouted, and lifts the incoming Kidd to a Flapja--no, too early, Kidd lands on his feet. Kidd swings around one-eighty to clothesline Deathrow, who ducks underneath, slips behind, Schoolboy! That quick pin attempt gets only a ONE! by Uruburu's hand, as Kidd kicks out onto his feet with a bit of shock on his face. Deathrow's normally outrageous grin seems less cartoony tonight; when Kidd stands tall enough to topple again, Deathrow clobbers him with a stiff lariat. Deathrow follows the Outlaw Spirit to the mat, and follows through with an Arm Triangle Choke--blocked by Kidd as he blocks Deathrow's arm with his free hand, so the hold never applies. Rolling to his knees, it's a fight to stand with Deathrow still clutching onto him, and the SUPERSTAR'S still got the best position--lifts Kidd for a Vertical Suplex, Kidd blocks it by hooking the leg, and attempts--Yes!--a reversal into a Vertical of his own. Kidd chooses not to chain the maneuver and allows a clean break between him and Deathrow. Both men find their feet, Kidd going to the ropes, rebounds, an quick as a hiccup he grabs Deathrow's arm and transfers his momentum, whipping HIM into the far ropes. Deathrow barrels back from the ropes--SPINE-BUSTER from Kidd, and an Arn Anderson / Triple H vintage, by the looks of it. Kidd's in position, and he hooks the leg--ONE! Not even a Two as Deathrow gets his shoulder up with the most obscene hand gesture imaginable. No, not "the finger", come on, that's as tame as a handshake. I'm talking about that OTHER thing. Uh-huh. Uruburu shouts out--what else?--a CAUTION to STD, but Kidd's letting his feelings be known another way. He violently flips Deathrow to his belly--he's thinking CATTLE MUTILATION! Such a vicious hold, and Kidd's got the one chicken-wing locked--HOLD THE PHONE! Deathrow--that MANIAC! Deathrow gets enough leverage with the free side of his body to roll himself and Kidd over, Kidd losing the hold. Deathrow keeps rolling, and pinions quickly to slap on the leg scissors. Kidd's choking from the hold, his hand pulsing toward the rope--a little bit of work and Kidd could reach it, but in the end decides against it and simply guts it out by forcing Deathrow's well-toned legs off of his neck. Kidd, a little worse for wear, rolls out of Deathrow's clutch. Deathrow takes it to the fans by leering at the women and bucking his hips... meanwhile, Kidd regains his breath on the mat. Deathrow turns his attention back on his opponent and seizes his ankle--tonight he's brought his A-game for technical wrestling, and he's got SOMETHING in mind--but Kidd cuts his momentum off by lunging and seizing the bottom rope.
Uruburu notes it and checks off Kidd's first rope break.
Deathrow drops the leg in disgust, but Kidd sits up immediately and stares at the ref in disbelief--he didn't believe that would cost him! Uruburu shakes his head, sadly--a rope break is a rope break, and Kidd's currently down one.
Kidd doesn't mope around too long. He tries to lock on a headlock, but Deathrow wriggles out of it, grabs a waist lock, then takes Kidd down to the mat! Kidd tries to turn over, but Deathrow shows some amateur skills and floats over for a headlock. Kidd could reach over and grab the ropes, but instead he grabs Deathrow by the tights and rolls him onto his back for a two count. Deathrow releases, goes for a forearm shot, Kidd ducks, swings with a backhand, Deathrow ducks, then both men connect with slaps. Both men look at each other in shock, then start to exchange forearm shots. Referee Uruburu can't do anything until they use fists, so he let's them knock each other around. Finally, Deathrow ducks a shot, hits a double leg take-down, and instinctively lands several punches to Kidd's jaw.
That instinct is costing Deathrow his first rope break.
Deathrow is angry with himself, but shows uncharacteristic calm. He waits for Kidd to get up, then goes for an arm bar. Kidd reverses, and whips Deathrow into the ropes. He nails Tommy with a clothesline, then quickly covers. Not enough to put him away, as Uruburu barely gets down to the mat before Tommy kicks out. Kidd drops an elbow on Deathrow before Tommy can even get to his feet, then slaps on a chin-lock, trying to wear his man out. Kidd cinches in, putting all his weight on Deathrow. Deathrow tries to squirm away, but has little success. He pulls himself (and Kidd) toward the ropes. He looks like he's ready to use his second rope break, only Kidd breaks the hold on his own, and drops a leg across Deathrow's head, then covers! One! Two! Deathrow kicks out, and slides out of the ring. Kidd follows, but is met with a European uppercut from Deathrow, then a Russian leg sweep into the ring railing. He gets a warning for that, but he tosses Kidd back into the ring before any shenanigans can take place. Deathrow circles Kidd like an animal circling his prey, then slaps a camel clutch on Kidd. Deathrow pulls back on Kidd's neck with all his strength, as Uruburu checks for a submission. Kidd can be clearly heard yelling "no". Deathrow keeps up the pressure, but Kidd refuses to give in. But he can't quite get out of the hold. Kidd reaches out and manages to grab the rope.
Kidd is using rope break number two.
Deathrow releases the hold as Kidd slumps face first onto the mat... but then drags Kid to center ring... and slaps on TOTAL NONSTOP TOMMY! Kidd's head rammed repeatedly into the mat! Deathrow goes for a cover! One! Two! ... Kidd barely gets the shoulder up! Deathrow is starting to show some frustration now. He drags Kidd to his feet.. Dominator! Kidd is crumpled on the mat! Deathrow covers! One...
Patrick Kidd uses his last rope break!
He puts his foot on the bottom rope, breaking the pin-fall. Deathrow is angry to not end the match, but he knows the advantage is his now.
Deathrow's smile returns--no Shawn Michaels reference here, folks, imagine Wyle E Coyote as a serial killer. THAT'S the look on Tommy's face. Some quick re-positioning and Deathrow's brought Kidd up with a SLINGSHOT--and Kidd is left propped up against the ropes. Deathrow runs and nails Kidd in the spine with a vicious Elbow--then as Kidd recoils, he seizes him and runs him SHOULDER-FIRST into the nearest turnbuckle post. Deathrow is intent on dissecting his opponent as quickly a possible... he pulls Kidd out of the corner, slaps on the Front Facelock... lifts Kidd up--KIDD SLIPS OUT! STD clearly thinking Falcon Arrow here, but Kidd manages to find his way out behind Deathrow--SLEEPER! Kidd's got the Sleeper latched onto to Deathrow--and now jumps onto his back! Kidd's not THAT much smaller than Deathrow, but Deathrow won't risk toppling over! Arms flailing, Deathrow starts teetering around the ring--and every time he gets close to a rope, he steers AWAY from it! Looks like Deathrow doesn't want to use up a rope break on this--but Kidd's sapping the strength out of him the longer the hold's applied! This may be the break Kidd had needed! Deathrow staggers, spaghetti-legged, and finally starts to topple--right into a corner, back-first! Kidd is driven into the turnbuckle, and while it's no turnbuckle power-bomb, it jars the Outlaw Spirit off of the Superstar. Still, the damage is done to Deathrow, and Kidd spies his half-conscious opponent picking himself up on the mat... his second wind regained, Kidd climbs the turnbuckle! Kidd looks like he's just won the lottery, he's exhilarated--and he FLIES! Front Flip Neck-breaker--BEAUTIFUL! The crowd's on their feet--Kidd's clambering on top of Deathrow, hooks the leg--
ONE!
TWO!
KICK-OUT.
And Kidd looks like someone just burnt his house down. He slides off of Deathrow, pounds his fists into the boards, and slowly--SLOWLY--picks himself up. His eyes burning with resolve, he seizes Deathrow's head and pulls him up... under-hooking his arms, he roars to the crowd, signaling for the CRIMSON TIDE... and then, with no warning, Deathrow slides his head neatly between Kidd's legs. With a desperate surge of strength, Deathrow POWERS up to standing, flipping Kidd with a BACK BODY DROP. Both men down, both of them worn out so very much, but they both fight their way to standing...
... but Deathrow is just three seconds quicker. Kidd lurches at him, but Deathrow controls the charge, and in no time it's a Deathrow Driver.
ONE!
Kidd shoots his leg out onto the rope--
TWO!
--but his rope breaks are gone.
THREE!
The mandatory post match handshake takes place. Kidd walks away but feels STD spit on him. He turns around and belts Tommy. They start a brawl with fists a flying. They roll to the outside. Kidd gets sent into the railing via an Irish whip. Kidd slowly recovers. Tommy is getting something out of his boot. Kidd staggers over to Tommy.
[glow=red,2,300]FIRE...[/glow]
A FIREBALL EXPLODES IN KIDD'S FACE...
The crowd goes silent.
Tommy follows with an impact DDT on the floor. Kidd is writhing in pain. EMT's are quick on the scene. He is yelling that he can't see. The medics guide him to the back, very carefully as Tommy stands in the ring smiling. He might have blinded Kidd for life. WHAT A SON OF A BITCH MOVE!
We go back to the screen where Joseph is at it again. The brutal attack on Kidd has the crowd in shock. Tommy is savoring it, on his way to the back when he hears Winchell speaking. He stops for a moment.
WINCHELL: (looking off camera) Do I go on with this... The guy could be blind. (He is told he is on.) Uh.. The second match of the Lethal Lottery will be drawn now.
Winchell rotates the basket, then draws out an envelope.
WINCHELL: THE CURRENT TELEVISION CHAMPION: THE YELLOW CHICKEN! (gets another envelope) teaming with PATRICK BICKLE.
Tommy stops looking at the screen and slowly makes his way to the curtain. Winchell has their opponents drawn, showing his impatients and nervousness by taking two out at a time.
WINCHELL: THEIR OPPONENTS ARE: KIDD...
Tommy laughs, as he has almost assuredly ruined Kidd's chances at the Battlebowl ring and Title shot.
WINCHELL: AND HIS PARTNER.
MY GOD...
"SUPERSTAR" DEATHROW.
Tommy glares up at the screen, with a look of shock. He very well might have eliminated himself from Battlebowl with that flash of fire. "BULL(BLEEP)" is heard from the mouth of Tommy, as anger engulfs his face when the graphic appears.

CELTIC ASSASSINS VS STIFF COMPETITION
"Devil in the Kitchen" plays and that signals the Celtic Assassins. Bobby O'Brady and Al Thoes enter the arena to loud cheers. "Quiet Retreat= Oscar" signs are unbelievably being held up through out the Polish Hall. Then the mood changes to jeers and derogatory chants against rednecks. "King of the Kill" brings the Celts some Stiff Competition. Dutch and Rod enter the ring. The teams each pick a guy to begin. The action starts with Thoes and Hardway in the ring in a lockup. Boot by Hardway with a forearm to the face for good measure. Rod bounces off the ropes and hits a clothesline on Al, finally sending him crashing to the mat. A leg drop across the neck follows and a hook of the leg, One, Two easy kick-out! Thoes springs up and rushes Hardway, who catches Thoes in a VICIOUS power slam! Hardway is putting the boots to his fallen opponent, and picks him up only to Irish Whip him into a neutral turnbuckle. HERE COMES HARDWAY! BIG SPLASH! Thoes stumbles out of the corner and as he falls, Hardway connects with a bulldog! Cover now, One, Two, another kick out, but this one wasn’t as easy. Thoes is in trouble and needs to make a tag! O’ Brady is leaning over the rope and shouting to his teammate! Hardway wants to wear him down and keep him in Stiff Competition’s corner, so he clinches on a headlock. Thoes reaaaaaaches with his legs and is just barely able to get his toes on the ropes! Referee John Sharplin is ordering Hardway to break, but he refuses!

The crowd boos but Hardway just laughs and tags in Dutch. Thoes forces himself up and connects with a hay-maker, but from the ring apron it’s Hardway with a forearm smash to the back of the head! Sharplin turns to issue a warning to Hardway, giving Dutch time to reach into his tights to grab brass knucks! Look out AL! Dutch swings and…MISSES! Sharplin sees the knucks and gets right in Dutch’s face, and confiscates them. Thoes stumbles to his feet and runs over to make the hot tag to O’ BRADY!
O’ Brady is in the ring and he’s a HOUSE OF FIRE! Clothesline to Dutch! Here comes Hardway! Back body drop to the Three hundred pounder! Dutch is back on his feet and he gets nailed with a back elbow! Thoes sees an opportunity and catches Hardway napping with a devastating POWER CLOTHESLINE over the top rope, taking both men out and over, leaving just the two legal men in!
BOOM BOOM BOOM go the rights and lefts of O’ Brady off of Dutch’s head! Dutch fires back and pokes his opponent right in the eyes, and follows quickly with a leg sweep! Not wasting any time, Dutch hops to the top rope and performs his top rope cross-body on a now standing O’ Brady! Stiff Competition regain the advantage!
The two illegal competitors are ordered by Sharplin back to their corners, as Dutch goes for an abdominal stretch now on O’ Brady, and cinches the hold in deep in Stiff Competition’s corner! Sharplin is focused on asking O’ Brady is he wants to submit, too focused to see Rod Hardway reaching over and pulling on Dutch’s arm! Sharplin notices a sudden increase in the amount of pain O’ Brady seems to be going through, checks to see if the Stiffs are cheating, and sees..nothing? Hardway pulled his hand back! Sharplin again checks on O’ Brady, and can’t see when Hardway grabs Dutch’s hand AGAIN! Sharplin is no fool though, and this time he catches them in the act, forces Dutch to break the hold, and declares the Hardway is now the legal man as they touched hands! Dutch steps out, looking pissed, and Hardway steps in to protest, unwisely putting his back to O’ Brady. Back suplex! With authority! Now it’s O’ Brady on the offensive! He picks up Hardway, with an amazing display of power, and pile-drives him! OHH BABY WHAT AN IMPACT! Cover!

Two,
SHOULDER UP!
Hardway isn’t going down that easily, but he’s hurt. Close to his corner, Hardway makes the tag to Dutch as O’ Brady tags in Thoes. The Celts execute a powerful double clothesline on Flanagan, and a double suplex and double fist drop follow! Hardway is back in the ring, behind an unsuspecting Thoes! Reverse DDT! Lights out! He boots O’ Brady in the gut and delivers and AWESOME swinging DDT! The ring shakes and O’ Brady’s head bounces off the mat! Now from behind Hardway decks Sharplin! He’s down and out, the bodies are EVERYWHERE! Hardway picks up O’ Brady, and performs a vicious FULL NELSON SLAM! Laughing all the way, Hardway picks up O’ Brady for some more punishment, connecting with a violent POWER-BOMB, in perfect time with Dutch’s Springboard Asai moonsault! O’ Brady is down for the count, but he’s NOT the legal man. Thoes is back up and hits a double clothesline on Hardway and Flanagan! Thoes off the ropes now and he hits a second double clothesline! Dutch rolls out and looks for a weapon, Thoes is a human wrecking ball in there. Back inside, Hardway tries to slow down Thoes to no avail! Kick to the midsection and a HAGGIS BUSTER! WHAT POWER! Hardway rolls out, he’s in a world of hurt! Flanagan is in the ring with a chair! Thoes turns just in time to see Flanagan coming at him, but with NO time to react!
But Sharplin is up! He grabs the chair from Dutch and Dutch is livid! He turns to grab it back, giving Thoes time to make his move!
HAGGIS BUSTER! COVER!

The CELTIC ASSASSINS WIN BY PIN-FALL! Dutch and Rod are completely shocked. They once again fall victim to the Celts. This will not sit well with them and their mission to end comedy in the NAPW.
