Because I want the defending Champion to at least consider coming back.

But the bigger reason is without D!, there really is no TEAM interfed. You took a gag sort of trophy and turned it into the backbone of my stable of interfed Championships. I never was going to do that title as a touring or defended Championship, and really, the response to the ToC and the response to D! as the CoC in general caused me to pretty much abandon my idea of a team-based fed and turned all my attention to this jizzbang I run today

You guys have a little less than a week to claim your spot in the ToC. I thought I'd take this opportunity to offer some information since I've been getting a few complaints about there being a lack of such, something I take all the onus for. So here it is.

- Yes, everything concerning the ToC is going to be held on the TEAM forums at FW.com. Make sure you check back on a daily basis if just to check the updated IN~! List or for other updates. Also, if you do not have an account there yet, please sign up ASAP. You're going to want to participate in everything to get the full effect and you can't do that if you sign up just in time for Round 1 to begin.

- Also, there will be a pre-tourney trash talk warm-up thread like there was last year. If you weren't around last year, then here's an explanation. The TT thread is going to be a warm-up for Round 1. You only get one RP in Round 1, but it may be very difficult going in and doing a promo on someone you know nothing about. The TT thread provides an excellent opportunity to build heat with other wrestlers in the tourney, thus making your first round RP that much easier to write. More info on that will become available when I post the thread, which will go up on June 11th.

- Speaking of getting to know your fellow competitors, I will be posting a profiles thread that will pretty much encompass every TEAM event from here on out. No sense in having just one profile thread if we have repeat customers. You won't have to post anything unless I can't find a link to your profile anywhere on the Net, so keep your eyes peeled, or if you know you don't have a profile on the Net anywhere, then be proactive and post it when I post the thread, which should be today or tomorrow.

- If you're not eligible for the ToC or you are and you don't feel like participating, I could always use a few good judges. Right now, I've got about three or four people who are willing, but like last year, I'm going to have four judges aside of myself for each round, and I'd like to have four different judges for each round. Please consider the opportunity if you don't mind slogging through RPs like it was your job

- Finally... if you're not eligible for the ToC, you want to be and you have no opportunity to win a singles title in your fed, try the FREE FOR ALL~! Match. Even though I like our Champion's sly confidence, anything can happen in this match, and if you come out victorious, then you get a spot in the Tournament, PLUS bona fide TEAM gold that you can slap on the "previous titles won" section of your next application.
