Eight is... yeah a tad overkill. There's so much going on in the ring with six that I can't imagine eight. Well I can imagine it, but I see a lot of "Royal Rumble moments" where you have guys just wearily punching each other in the corner while two or three other guys are hitting a high spot.
And Finlay... ugh. I like the guy, honestly I do, but quit trying to act like the guy will ever be a contender against the likes of Batista and Undertaker. The fact Benoit isn't a World title contender sickens me, yet they keep trying to force Finlay down my throat. Another thing that bothers me, is the fact that they have killed the IC and US divisions. Benoit is pretty much holding the strap to make him look somewhat important, while they keep him out of the limelight of the World division. And Umaga? I just don't understand the need to put the title on him. I saw promise with the feud with Nitro/Hardy for the title, but putting the belt on Umaga just kills all the steam.
I guess I got way off track. My guess is if they don't put MVP/Benoit at Wrestlemania, they'll somehow get either Kane or Sandman in the match.

I guess I got way off track. My guess is if they don't put MVP/Benoit at Wrestlemania, they'll somehow get either Kane or Sandman in the match. They have done four-team TLC matches in the past and they've been good. Guys take a big bump and lay around for a while. The major difference is that four entities are trying to win versus eight. It could still be a cool match, hopefully they give it some time. I like Finlay a lot and he's gotten over, I think, to the surprise of almost everyone in management and even fans. I never thought today's fan would get into him. Then he got over, and they gave him a leprechaun, and he still made THAT get over. Finlay = bad-assery. I would honestly say he's similar to Benoit in the fact that if he's in a title match he does have a small chance. That said, I wish they would program Benoit as a title challenger. He doesn't have to win (although that would be great), but he's credible instantly and can certainly put on some watchable matches. It's good that he actively defends the US Title but it really does seem like Benoit's vanity belt right now. They aren't putting much effort into him, yet he's perpetually over for his in-ring. Finlay is over because of his in-ring. I mean they could at LEAST give Finlay and Benoit twenty minutes at WM for all us old school chumps. I agree with Umaga. I shocking like Umaga - his match with Cena at the Rumble was great. But he does not NEED the Intercontinental title to be over. Umaga will continue to go on being rarely defeated (he'll lose at WM). Simply putting him into a feud where some face finally scores a big win on him would put a guy over; the title is more or less negligible. This is the third year straight I believe that the IC title is NOT being defended at WM, however. IMO, the WWE simply has too many titles. With the recent news that brand-specific PPVs are going to regularly feature wrestlers from all three rosters, I don't know why the E doesn't simply end the brand split at this point. When they had ONE champion for the company who travelled between shows it seemed more legit and was more interesting. Oh well. They keep charging more for PPVs and people keep buying them. Well, except for December To Dismember. Bwahahaha. Meanwhile, TNA tells Samoa Joe that he can't wrestle for Ring Of Honor anymore... and this week he will job to Tomko. Wait, wasn't TNA worried about Joe "looking bad" on the indies for jobbing or not being in the main event? *sigh*

Well this way you'll be prepared, vs throwing your shoe at your TV in disgust.
