New Title!

The new division is going to be based on the PURE wrestling title in ROH. I'm not too fond of any of the names above so as usual, I go to the NAPW for ideas!

-There will be a "Code Of Honor."
-No cheating. Any cheating will result in the stripping of the title (if you have it) and removal from the division. A qualifying match would need to be wrestled completely fair to get back into the division.
-Possibly rules like rope break limits, but unsure.
-Focus on the NAPW Challenge system to ascend rankings and get title shots.

Also, out of character, I would like to see handlers involved who are willing to drop the belt for the betterment of the title and put people over. Not that I would stop somebody from having a great run with the belt, but out of character the competition and spirit should be similar to the kayfabe.

I want to have a division based purely on competition, and certainly very like the old WCW Cruiserweight division for pure action (although there is no weight limit). To be a heel in this division would not be to cheat to win, but to be a cocky heel "I'm going to prove that I'm just flat out better than these chumps" (courtesy Dave).

I think this belt is going to be a good idea for napw.But i have to ask you a question prez if you win the Provincial title and the Napw Heavyweight title at the same time will you become the undisputed champion of the Napw.

Well, the Heavyweight Champion IS the undisputed champion of NAPW. If somebody won both the Provincial and Heavyweight titles at the same time, they would have two titles and have to defend both in different matches (of course somebody could challenge for both.)

Kyle Jago just had a good idea. The champion of this division will not get a belt. We'll do like a Cup or some other symbol of his championship status.

I voted for Traditional, even though it sounds kind of odd, just because every other name's a real championship and I didn't want to rip off some other promotion.

I think it's be cool if this division was represented by a trophy. Is there anyone from the Edmonton area that you'd think would represent pure wrestling? Other than Benoit?

Because the Chris Benoit Cup sounds too, I dunno, too not-retired.
