Props to Uzi's handler, Alan, for not only calling D! out, but then giving me one hell of a fun fight over the weekend. Like my character, I find a one-on-one RP contest to be the most rewarding, and he not only made me work for it, not only insisted we spice it up with the Sunday-night vignette, but it's the most fun I've had going one-on-one for a short while.
Kudos to Alan for the great work he's doing with Uzi, and if your character's in the Television division, your month's gonna SUCK. ;D

For ActioN!
Bo wrote a bloody and awesome first blood main event!
Kyle wrote a hyper-active TV Title match... Poor, poor Joey.
Brion wrote a MANWICH!
Aaron wrote PURE HONOR, and quite a nice match!
And I really, really enjoyed writing four-corner survival and the Celtic/Stiff match.
Ding!

Yo,
In regards to this particular show, it was a tough one vs one Rp battle between you and El Mentiroso. we have a rule that only allows one RP in the last six hours to prevent 'deadline bombing'. So unfortunately your second RP didn't count. I'll get back later. Folks? Do you have any thoughts?
I know I like what I see in Carter Owens...

I agree over the "RP Bomb". If you'd had at least one RP more over the course of the RP period than its last few hours, I think you'd have creamed Menti.
Aside from that, Owens' character is very tragic, and I've preferred that side of him so far. Not melodramatic or schmaltzy, but the gritty, stark stuff has fit the character better so far than the "dealing with idiots" moments. Plus, when he's hinged so much on the death of his daughter, well, what do these losses mean to him? Where does he go from here? What you do with the match losses may very well turn the tide for you.
Whether it's my RPs or someone else's, I always tend to gravitate towards focusing on your match, focusing on your feud, and putting over your finisher. It's worked for me so far.

Thanks for the advice, Ryan/Prez sir and D!
I wasn't aware of the bombing rule, but I will remember for it next time and will try and get better.

That came about at the same time we were planning the big revelation that Dragon was The Man In Black.

Woah, I thought Johnny Cash was the man in black...
Or was that Will Smith? ... or Tommy Lee Jones...

PEOPLE DID THIS TO THAT:
Dream Come True vs. Celtic Assassins - Diego Dextro vs. Dez Carter - Bo Crash Carver vs. Team MAN - Ro Mark Cage vs. "Ron Hardway" - Boston Dave Lloyd Rees vs. The Crusher - That'd be Ro again.
Updates will be done later, in what I like to call the "Post-Superman Era." Ciao!
