New NAPW Title?

No, that has nothing to do with it.

An Undisputed championship means that there are no other similar Big Titles floating around, that everybody in the whatever federation you're in can agree on who's the company champion.

The WWE Undisputed championship was created because there were, at the time, TWO Heavyweight title belts . . . the WWF / WWE one, and the former WCW title. As neither Stone Cold or The Rock could claim that their title was better than the other one, they made the Undisputed Championship to settle it once and for all. Of course, Chris Jericho won that one, but that's another story altogether.

When the brought the WCW / World Heavyweuight championship back on RAW, the "Undisputed" trait was lost. Neither Batista or John Cena's belts mean more than the other one.

Right now the NAPW has two singles titles: the NAPW Title and the Provincial Title. A Provincial Championship run may get you a title shot at the NAPW title, not the other way around. The belts are not equal. There is no dispute. And I'd still say that if Ravager / Static was the NAPW Title match and D! / Plague was the Provincial Title match.

Protest all you want, but the dictionary's on my side.

So we need something completely different from either of those, and I for one would change my vote to Hardcore title!

I don't think a hardcore title would be the best idea (and don't get me wrong, I'm an ECW fan, I love hardcore wrestling) but a TV title fits because we have a guaranteed title match each week. And more often than not, it will allow for different match-ups each week. On the other hand, a junior title would be good with all the new wrestlers coming in as well. In the end the decision is up to the Pres.

Well, D!...Why don't we make it an NAPW Heavyweight Championship? Or at least an Intercity Championship...Something I haven't heard yet?!

Hey guys, keep it cool on here. It's just a new title. =)


The NAPW Championship is the main title in the same way the WWE Championship is. It's not heavyweight or anything. It's the WWE Championship. We're a regional fed, so I don't feel it's fair to call it a world title, and I don't want to prevent Cruiserweights from competing for the top belt, so I don't want to call it heavyweight. But to give it grandeur, we call it the NAPW Championship. The holder is THE MAN in the NAPW. And to BE THE MAN ---- WHOOO! You've got to BEAT the man!

I'll see how the votes go for the next couple days and then we'll decide. If it turns out that more people vote for "some other name" than I'll post a poll to decide the name!

PS: I probably won't do a hardcore title, though. Sorry.
