I know that, personally, the reason I write a match per show (or, at least, I've done one per show for the past three now) is to help the Pres out.
And when I'm given the choice of a match, I will usually pick with two criteria:
1. Can I make a good story out of the match i'm writing? 2. Is there any reason why i would have a bias against or for one of the competitors.
If there's a friend involved in the match, I'll usually choose another.
So far, so good, I think.

I picked Immortal / Khaos because they were two characters that have shared promo time with D!, and as the first two TV division superstars, I wanted to give them as good a match as possible.
I picked Axe / Beast because I love hardcore spotfests, and because both tag teams were so well-defined in their characters that I'd have to try to fail.
Ultimately, if I'm given a choice, i'll have different reasons for picking matches, but I've been lucky to have characters and set-ups that I'm familiar with.
Oh, and if you want to write matches? Read every promo. Seriously.

Seriously? READ EVERY PROMO, just because. Half the fun is following the entire fed, not just your guy. Static/Ravager/Lobo wouldn't be half the feud it is if they weren't roleplaying like bats.
If you read every promo and see what the champions do to BE at that level, it can only help.

Alright, I am stupidly busy at work this week, so help would be appreciated.
I'd like to find match writers for all matches except the main event on Action!. The tag match, The four-way, and Casino/Moose. One medium, one possibly mid-long, and one short. Let me know via PM or messenger.
It will probably be that way for the rest of christmas, extra help match writing, cos I'm going to be working a LOT more than usual. I usually have sun-tuesday off and work evenings, but with so many christmas parties at my restaurant, I'm looking at double after double. Whee. But, I do need the money.

For ACTION!
I'm going to need every match covered. I'm working doubles wed-fri, and it takes enough time to just edit and put together the card. Please PM me if you would like to and can take a match. It would need to be in to me by 10am at the latest Thursday morning.
Thanks!

In future I can help out where needed...this week I'm battling Satan in the form of a flu though, so maybe next week.
