(Heavily bandaged, sitting alone by himself... Rex Caliber looks to have fought in a war zone. And to be perfectly honest, he did. A war for a title belt. This is following the Supershow, and Rex has some things on his mind.)
REX: Three successful title defenses... Three straight weeks... Three victories... That's just the tip of the iceberg. Bob Ravager isn't the same type champ as me. Now he has defeated some fine wrestlers. On his current title run, he even defeated a member of the Crimes. Forget that Rees had bronchitis, and was totally dehydrated from the flu. It don't matter that Rees was blowing chunks before, and after the match. Rees even at twenty five percent, nearly crippled with food poisoning.. he still was better than you.. and you cheated like you always do, Bob. You brag about that streak of victories, but you exploit the rules where you don't have to defend it but every three weeks.
(Rex holds up his belt.)
REX: Then there's me... the REBEL champ. All week we was being compared by the fans, the two promotions sized up. You compare me to past champions in NAPW... There's only one man that can say he successfully defended his belt, without losing a match by some DQ bullshit, no draws, just winning.. that man is Pat Bickle in his Pure Honor run. And you go look up who he fought compared to me.. and my competition is much tougher. He defeated a luchadore, a tag team specialist and retard name Bob. Oh... That retard is you, isn't it Ravager? Proving my point further that there isn't a champion to ever hold a NAPW title that can compare to what I'm doing in REBEL.
(Rex smiles.)
REX: Every damn match I've wrestled in REBEL... all championship matches... but one. That one was just as big, as it was a qualifying match, that lead to me winning the belt. So do you think... just for one minute, that June will prove different? Nope, cause instead of doing what he should, despite every damn body telling him otherwise... Kyle Roberts is taking his earned title shot to face... the champ. I think him and who the (BLEEP) cares, should take on the Foundation. Or maybe go for that second rate Carolina belt. That's more up his alley.
(Rex points to his head, which is bandaged, and blood is seeping through them.)
REX: Now also I need to address my competition. My opponent was much tougher than Ravager's. Sparx... you did everything you could do. In the end... you showed guts, the ability to compete on a main event level, but you still aren't on my level. Kid.. you're a top contender, and you might get another shot. But I'd suggest you sign with NAPW, go after Bob's belt. Y'know... a belt you can actually win. Just call my office, I'll set up something. Ravager isn't half the fighting champ that I am. He'll duck you, it'll take you two months to get in a tag match with him, then off of that a title match, but God Damn if you get that match.. you can win. I can make sure of it! Simply Beautiful... he could have been champ... Bruce might be one day... I can make it happen. The reason Ravager is champion still.. cause as sucky he is... no one he faces has been sneakier, more underhanded. Casino should have beaten him.. he's clearly better... but Ravager was slimey like always.
(Rex stands up, grabs his belt.)
REX: Bob... you want to show you are better than me? Start fighting every damn week, defending that belt like I do mine... and maybe you can be considered a real champion. I'm tired of owning a promotion with such a blowhard lazy champ. The whole damn week, everyone asked this question on whether I'd be messing with matches. I don't have a vendetta against anyone. Ravager... I want you to drop the belt for a number of reasons. It's bad for business to have a man like you hold that belt, that long. If you was the best wrestler in NAPW.. maybe I could see good in it. But you're not. Now... I could do the obvious, send Banks or Rees in there to beat you, take that belt, but that makes me look like Joey Malone. That's not what I'm about. Someone will beat you, someone who has went up the ranks, earned a shot. It has to happen. I'm not losing my belt, and Rex versus Bob doesn't take place until one of us loses our belt. So we are at a Mexican stand off. Right now, I have people making the matches for me, just to make sure that the fans don't call bullshit and stop coming. Joey's big mistake was not giving the fans a level playing field. I'm creating competition to push you, Bob. I want you to be as highly regarded as me. It won't happen but I can try. But when you lose that belt... after you earn a shot in REBEL... then the worse ass kicking you've ever received becomes a reality. Match of the Year? Not a chance... you won't survive ten minutes with the Rexcellence of Rexecution.
Three defenses, three weeks, all W's... TOP THAT BOB!
(Rex exits the locker room and we fade to black.)
