Man, with unbearable delusions, continues to believe that what they have belongs to them.
They never thought that a demon would come along and end their joy, their triumph.
They think that the rage of demons was only a one-time occurrence. They think it's over and will never happen again.
But they are sadly, sadly mistaken.
Where man believes their greatest strengths are, demon will find their greatest weaknesses.
And use it to their ultimate advantage.
And take what is rightfully theirs.[/color]

"Awaiting their Imminent Doom"
[Sometimes when a life ends, a new life appears, replacing that which has been lost.]
[Sometimes when a legacy ends, a new legacy appears, replacing that which has been lost.]
[When ice and snow is faced with fire, what disappears is replaced.]
[The successor of fire's advantage, becomes fire's weakness.]
[Ice and snow becomes water. The ice and snow melt under the overwhelming heat of the fire.]
[And one would come to a conclusion that the water formed would be capable of extinguishing the fire that created it.]
[But what if the fire has become so hot that it not only melts the ice and snow, but evaporates the water as well?]
[The fire would be in control. The fire would be master. The fire's would be the legacy that succeeds ice, snow, and water.]
[Winter does not exist in the deepest darkest circle of hell.]
[Sometimes the legacy that dies is not what one would expect to die. Even as much as the legacy that succeeds it may be surprising.]
[And what can survive in this fire, but demons?][/color]
(The picture fades into focus and we see NIGHTMARE. A side view of him, in his car. The old, beaten-up '69 Camaro that he had discovered once upon a time in a busted car lot. Abandoned. They hadn't even taken the keys out. The camera records The Dream Demon from his right. He's smiling, no, smirking. His mouth may be projecting some kind of "happiness", but the passionate rage in his eyes could not be mistaken. As he smirks, the corner of his mouth twitches, his nerves spasming under the anger and rage. The camera zooms in on the speedometer. It's american, measured in miles. We knew that he was going quite fast when we saw the trees and barbed wire fences of the Canadian countryside fly by in a blur. He is speeding down the highway at 70 mph.)
NIGHTMARE - (off-camera) All right, Mark, we'll try to keep this short, okay?
(The camera zooms out to show all of NIGHTMARE, coming into focus quickly. His green eyes dart back and forth up the highway as he begins to cut the promo he's been talked into cutting.)
NIGHTMARE - Prince Darko thinks he's some kind of all powerful season. Winter, as it seems. And his Television Title is a lake. A frozen one. Figures. In an attempt to prove that the title is his and will remain to be his, to try and prove a strength, he gave me a weakness. Doesn't he know what ice can't withstand?
The answer is simple. Heat. And hell hath no fury like the heat of the fire burning within me.
He said that my heat is nowhere near powerful enough to melt the ice off of his "lake." He thinks that the fire that consumed me is long since over after Cold Snap. Is the fire gone, Darko?
Or has it just been dowsed with more fuel?
You were right about one thing, though, Darko. Neither man nor machine can end the winter. But you said nothing about demon. You said nothing about how USELESS ice and snow is against the fires of HELL. I am hell, Darko, and in this life, this "Reality," ice usually loses against fires burning at temperatures over three thousand degrees. It melts into water. But under that temperature the water evaporates.
But you thought that my fire had diminished after Cold Snap, didn't you? You thought the pain and anger was over, didn't you? You actually thought that I was done. Finished with this hatred for life and the pains it's caused me.
Obviously you were mistaken.
You actually thought that I would be done before I won that title? The first title I'd ever win in this business, and the first title I will win, is that title that you currently call your own. That title that you currently have taken to naming a frozen lake. A lake of ice. But surely you would know that the fire burning within me is a lake all in itself? You were burned by it, Darko. Three times. Third degree burns cover your body in your nightmares and you continue to ramble on like it never. Happened.
(NIGHTMARE shakes his head impatiently. A look of disgust crosses his face, but it is only brief. He glances back and forth at the camera trying to address the camera personally, and watch the road at the same time. He gestures up the road.)
NIGHTMARE - Do you know where we're finally headed, Darko?
(The camera pans to view the coming road, and a roadsign passes by very quickly, but it didn't have to be there very long for you to figure out what it said. "Welcome to Saskatchewan.")
NIGHTMARE - I'm going home. Regina, Saskatchewan. That is where Tuesday Night is happening, Prince, did you know that? Not only am I going to attempt to end your career, not only are you going to forfeit your title to me, Darko, but it'll happen in my home town of Regina, Saskatchewan. The provincial capital. My home.
(NIGHTMARE's voice trails off as he anticipates the future. He keeps his green eyes fixated on the road ahead, determined to get home. He speaks almost under his breath, just barely legible in the sound of the rushing wind. Behind the camera man there is no passenger door. Lucky he has a seatbelt.)
NIGHTMARE - Darko doesn't think I can do it. No one thinks I can do it. But then again, no one thought I could beat Thomas Young, did they? No one thought I could beat the Foundation. This week is no different. No one thinks I can claim a title for my own. Nobody believes in me, but me.
And that's just the way I like it.
I've finally discovered, like the best of the NAPW, that you can only look out for numero uno. I don't care if no one loves me any more. I don't care if everyone hates me now. I don't even care that the fans have chosen Darko over me.
In fact, that just proves my point.
That point is that I have become the most feared force in all of the NAPW. The fans know it, the entire locker room knows it. Do you know how I know? The fans have began to cheer a man who they used to hate beyond all reason because he stood up to me. They rally him on because he fought against me. Just for being my enemy, the fans have chosen him to be the fan favourite. Fate, it seems... is not without a sense of irony.
The people hate me because they know I'm rising to the top. The people hate me because I'm the best, and they know it. And more importantly, I know it. I may have a few losses under my belt that I'm not too proud of... but I'm about to replace that belt with a new one. The NAPW TV Title belt. It will help me to clear up some mistakes I've made, because while I carry a belt, I am the top of my division. Everyone will be gunning for me. But little will they know, I will be gunning for them as well. Passionately, I will fight until I have redeemed myself. And it has already begun.
As of late, I have been on a winning streak. Deny it if you wish, but I am. And I intend to continue this winning streak. By any means neccessary.
But know this, Darko. If you want to make this a battle of the elements, so be it. But you have chosen the wrong side. You know, there's an old saying. Fight fire with fire. You've taken a totally new twist on this, my friend. You're fighting fire with the element most weak against it.
Ice.
And your frozen lake will melt. Not only will it melt, but I'll dry it out. With the fires of hell that burns beneath my skin, I will dry your lake.
And create a lake of my own. Create a life of my own. A legacy of my own. A legacy...
Of FIRE.
(NIGHTMARE covers the camera lens with his hand. Fade to black.)
[In his deepest, darkest nightmares, man has seen the end of the world.]
[But they can rest easy knowing that they'll never have to experience it.]
[What they will experience is much, much worse.]
[The age where hell takes over the earth.]
[And demons rule over all. Taking no prisoners. And showing no mercy.][/color]

Life has it's twists, just as man has their weaknesses, and demon has their strengths.
Everything that has a beginning has an end.
But as long as there is air, the very thing man needs most to survive...
Demon's fire will burn with a vengeance, a passion.[/color]
