The scene opens with a camera shot panning the outside of the Delta Hotel in Regina, Saskatchewan. After a few seconds the camera view changes and you see a man sitting in an olive green chair inside one of the rooms at the Delta Hotel. On the right side of the guy in the chair is a square wooden table with a shinny three foot lamp resting on top. You also see light grey colour drapes covering the window behind the man. The man is wearing a black NAPW t-shirt and blue jeans. The man also has a clipboard in his lap. The cameraman tells the interviewer that their going to start soon. The cameraman starts counting down. Five…four….three…two….one, then the cameraman points at the interviewer.
Interviewer: “Hello NAPW fans. It’s your favourite interviewer, Josh Reynolds here. Today I talk to a new NAPW superstar who will be making his debut at this weeks Tuesday Night Fights against Dez Carter. The man I speak of is sitting to my right and he is Newfy Jack.”
Camera pans left to view Newfy Jack sitting on a grey couch and a mountain of empty Newfy Juice bottles in front of him. Newfy Jack is wearing a light blue plaid vest with a grey hood and a white sleeveless shirt underneath the vest. He also had on blue jean shorts. You see Jack grab something from the floor and puts it on the couch beside him.
Josh R: “Before we get this interview started, can I ask why do you have a fish with you?”
NJ: “Because he is my homie. Charlie and I have been friends since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I remember my grand papi brought Charlie over to my house one day in the summer and put in a fish bowl. That only lasted a year or two because Charlie got so big so fast we had to move him into the bathtub. That’s where he has been ever since. I won’t want anybody else watching my back then Charlie.”
Josh R: “Okay! Where do you come from Newfy Jack?”
NJ: “I come from the mean streets of Newfoundland. It’s also referred by some as the rock.”
Josh R: “What kind of wrestler can the NAPW fans expect to see this Tuesday in your match against Dez Carter?”
NJ: “I am known by many around Canada as the Canadian hardcore icon. I like to things to the extreme. You could also say I am a brawler! Being raised in bars in Newfoundland made me tough and a strong fighter. I hope Dez Carter is prepared for one hell of a fight come Tuesday night because that’s exactly what he’s going to get. I am going to beat the holy hell out of Dez Carter. When I get done with Dez Carter, you will the NAPW send out janitors to the ring to clean him off the mat!!! Dez Carter can’t stop me! I am a three hundred and fifteen pound wracking ball. Ready to knock over everyone who gets in my way. I am going to make an example out of Dez Carter. This example will send a message to the whole NAPW roster on what will happen to them if they step into the ring with me.”
Josh R: “How is it that you came to be a NAPW superstar?”
NJ: “The NAPW’s talent scout told the owner of NAPW what I have been doing in the EUWC and what I could bring to the table. By the following weeks NAPW bought out my contract with the EUWC and brought me to the NAPW to help shake things up a bit.”
You see Newfy Jack pick up a little keg of Newfy Juice and shotgun it back.
Josh R: “Wow!!! How much alcohol have you had to drink tonight?”
NJ: “I had a few kegs of Newfy Juice and a two-four of beer. My usually training regiment for each match. You look at me like a lot booze for one man to drink. You should see me on the weekends! I drink much more alcohol then.”
Josh R: “Well that’s all the time we have for this interview. Thanks for doing this interview Newfy Jack.”
NJ: “You’re welcome.”
The scene fades as it comes to a close.
