The following is a replay of "Between the Ropes with Johnny B", Edmonton's favorite wrestling radio show that aired on 2/15/2007.
Johnny B: That concludes our review of NAPW's "Cold Snap", but we ain't done with NAPW. Because after we break for commercials, NAPW rising superstar "The Show" Chad Kurtis will be joining us.
Commercials play for several up coming wrestling events as well as UFC events and local tough man contests.
Johnny B: We are back and at this time I would like to welcome our first guest. He is one of the fastest raising superstars in NAPW as well as the self-proclaimed true NAPW television champion, here's "The Show" Chad Kurtis...
Show: Thank you, Johnny B, it's great to be here, but before we start let's get one thing straight! That being you can drop the self proclaimed stuff! I mean everyone knows I should have the belt right now!
Johnny B: That maybe true, but you don't have the belt do you!?
Show: Gets an evil grin on his face Johnny, Johnny, Johnny, you are getting dangerously close to get the same treatment that Josh Reynolds got, if you don't watch yourself!
Johnny B: Since you mention that let's talk about it. You turned some heads with your behavior after "Cold Snap", do you think you may have snap a little?
Show: I was kind of pissed at that moment, but no I don't think I overreacted or snap as you put it. I mean I wanted to send a message that would be heard around the wrestling world, and I believed I accomplished that!
Johnny B: Moving on, you and your brother once again team up this week to face as you called them the M&M boys, Marcus Chamberlain & Maxx Extreme, do you have any projections for this match-up?
Show: I kind of feel sorry for those two. I mean I know they are both talented wrestlers, but it's hard to just stick two wrestlers together and have them became a team, and we all know "Team Kurtis" is a true team. I mean Matthew is the unmovable object and I am the undeniable force, so my projection is another win for "Team Kurtis".
Johnny B: In his latest promo, Marcus C made that statement that he wasn't afraid of "Team Kurtis". Does this statement bother you in anyway?
Show: To be honest the only thing that bothers me about MC's promo was he didn't invite me over for omelets. I mean I love a good omelet, but as far as him not being afraid. That's the way it's suppose to be. I mean if you are afraid to claim in the ring against somebody you are in the wrong business. Plus, I glad he ain't afraid, I mean I don't want to have to chase him.
Johnny B: Let's talk about the fact that your feud with "The Foundation" seems to be all but over, but you seems to still have unfinished business with Jeff James as well as Nightmare, does this take you away from where you want to be?
Show: I am done with "The Foundation", but you are right I still have a little something, something for both Nightmare and Jeff James! Now as far as taking me away from where I want to be, the answer is no! I mean it should be clear to everyone that I got a wake up call lately, and now the true Chad Kurtis is here to kick ass and take names!
Johnny B: Wow, I am being told to shut up and cut to a commercial, so I would like to thank "The Show" Chad Kurtis for taking time to talk to us today.....
Scene fades out
