(Rex Caliber has sent in a tape of a Q & A session that he had earlier today, with the fans of NAPW. The session was taped at the lobby area of Alberta Place Suite Hotel, in Edmonton. It is to be shown on NAPWonline.com. Rex is sitting in a rocking chair as the fans have gathered around the camera man.)
Rex: Thank you, my Freaks. When I came to NAPW a few weeks ago, I thought that the fans here were illiterate and pretty much wastes of human flesh. But even though I still find 75% of those fans repulsive, I have a few upstanding individuals that have shown their support for Rex Caliber’s God given ability. Today I have shown my appreciation, for those fans. I signed hundred upon hundreds of autographed pictures, and only charged $5 each. I usually charge $10. I see that my fans here want to know Rex, they need to know me in fact, so I will give 10 fans, randomly selected, an opportunity to ask me anything they want to. Let’s start please.
(An NAPW official selects the first fan.)
Fan #1: My name is Lacey Anderson, I’m so nervous…
Rex: It’s ok sweetie, what’s your question for big, studdley me.
(The fan is blushing.)
Fan #1: Ok, What do you do when you get lonely while traveling?
Rex: I keep busy with various promotional appearances, and maybe a rendezvous at trendy upscale club. You know ones where the clothes of the ladies come off pretty regularly. I also read magazines and local newspapers. I love reading the emails from all my fans. A big fan of mine, Static, sends me emails everyday, asking me advice on a variety of things. I also train almost daily, so that takes up a huge amount of time. Next question.
(NAPW official selects another lucky fan.)
Fan #2: I’m Ken, from Medicine Hat, You mentioned training, and your obviously well proportioned, so what's your training regimen like?
Rex: Excellent question Ken, my training consists of a 6 day a week weight training program. Every other day, I do either abs or heavy cardio. I break my days down like this: Day 1 is chest/triceps. I do a variety of bench presses. Inclines and declines, negative countdowns, and other pectoral oriented exercises such as the pec-deck and chest butterflies with dumbbells . Triceps are easy to train with push down cable/bar rows, and dips. Day 2 is back/ biceps. I like to do T bar rows, as well as seated cable rows for the back. I add in bent over butterflies and reverse sit-ups. Biceps, is basically curls, be it barbells or dumbbells. So many ways to them. Day 3 is shoulders/legs. I train legs with squats, leg presses, leg curls and calf raises. Shoulder exercises consist of shrugs, pull-ups , shoulder presses and military press. Cardio and abs have a lot of different choices. I repeat the program on day four. Next question.
(Fan number three is chosen, as the crowd gets bigger.)
Fan #3: I’m Steve, I was wondering who is this Minstrel guy anyway?
Rex: Cuba Gooding Jr. Next question.
(Fan number 4 comes forth. He is wearing a Beast Richards shirt.)
Rex: Hey kid, let me ask you a question, where did you get that ugly ass shirt, my god man. Put this on.
(Rex hands the confused fan a REX CALIBER FOR PRIME MINISTER shirt.)
Fan #4: I got it at a show last week. My brother loves those guys. Anyway I was wondering, how do you think you and Static will do against D-X?
Rex: I think that D-X will get their knees destroyed, and will be lucky to walk away from Action! at all. Next question.
(Fan number 5 is ready.)
Fan #5: I’m Brian Horobin, just how much training have you guys had, to take chair shots to the head?
Rex: I take about, on average, 9 shots a day, from the strongest guy in the gym. Who happens to have a chair handy everyday. I’m good at it now, and only occasionally black out and bleed to death. NEXT!
(Fan number 6 slowly walks up to the now pissed Rex.)
Fan # 6: ……
(She faints in front of Rex, and a few fans carry her away. Rex stops them.)
Rex: Give her this.
(Rex hands them one of his shirts. Fan number 7 is ready with his question.)
Fan #7: Hello, Christopher Rhonson here. What has been your favorite match to date?
Rex: Easy, my favorite match was against Larry Gionet, last week in New Jersey for the Shootfire promotion. He won in the end, but it was all around an awesomely excellent match. Next question please.
(Fan number 7 approaches Rex, and he is wearing a Ravager shirt.)
Fan #7: Hi , I’m Bill Varscona, a HUGE NAPW fan. Since your finisher is very similar to Ravager's muscle-buster, do you feel that you've mastered the move better than HE has?
Rex: I trained in Japan for 1 and a half years, and there is where I perfected that move. Ravager as a whole is very sloppy in the ring and really isn’t qualified to wear that belt he has. So to answer the question, yes my move is better looking, and more devastating than his. Next.
Fan #7: But I think his move is great, and he is an awesome champ.
Rex: You just took another fans question. How dare you waste my time. My buddy Static, as inept in the ring as he is, will one day soon beat Mr. Ravager and regain his belt. Next again.
(Fan # 8 is ready to burst out, with happiness. He can‘t wait to talk with Rex.)
Fan #8: I am your biggest fan. My name is Jeff Smyth, who is the wrestler you most want to face?
Rex: The match up that all the fans are clamoring for, the boys in the back are whispering about, the match that the guys in the front office are putting dollar signs next to:
D! vs. “The Nexus One”
I’m not going to pull a Casino, disrespect our champ and kiss ass to get a title shot. I will earn my shot in due time. D! is an excellent wrestler, and once he destroys Casino, and the bookers can’t get another viable contender, then I’ll step up to the plate and we will put on a clinic. I will push him to limits that he has never thought of... Final question is one, from a fan that is too shy to talk in front of the camera. This is Ryan from Edmonton’s question:
How do you like tag teaming with Static?
Personally, I love wrestling with him. He is so serious in the ring, that I can depend on him to bring his best. His best isn’t anywhere near my best, but it is better than 88% of the other NAPW wrestlers. With me on his team, we can’t be beat. Simple as that. Unstoppable. Just like the Decaps, D-X is on a collision course with TOTAL ANNIHILATION!
(The video ends.)
OOC: A huge thanks goes out to Ravager, Static, D! and the Minstrel for their questions they sent in.
