Insight from Tiffany

(Lights up. The Dudes, MIKE and CAMERON, with their cheerleading valet, TIFFANY, sit outside a coffee shop in downtown Edmonton. They are all enjoying a cup of gingerbread latte, and the unseasonably warm weather.)

TIFFANY: (Sipping her drink.) So… what’s the plan from here?

(Mike and Cam give her a confused glance.)

TIFFANY: You guys DO have a plan, you know, for your match?

(The Dudes exchange a look.)

TIFFANY: Because, you know, D-X will be spitting mad at you. And will probably cheat.

(Cam sips his drink. Mike scratches his beard. Both are now avoiding her gaze.)

TIFFANY: Are you serious!? You guys came up with a way to totally insult and piss off the reigning tag team champions, and DIDN’T have a PLAN to BACK IT UP!? What happened to Batman, guys? WHAT HAPPENED TO BATMAN!?

(Mike laughs sheepishly. Cam tries to look really interested in his latte.)

TIFFANY: (With a defeated sigh.) We really need to stop doing things the hard way.

(Lights down.)
