Mirage paces his front room...Bio, Kar, and The Nameless One sit in the tires...
--Mirage-- So...Crusher seems so sure that he can "crush" me...(looks at camera)...Crusher, how can you manage to scare The Nameless One, if you can't possibly scare even Mirage? The Mentor? I will not fall to some boy, who has a slight---who am I kidding---HUGE speech impediment...Like I said...you have a problem with words...
Mirage sits behind his desk...
--Mirage-- But this isn't about you, Crusher...It's about Ravager...Provincial Champion...You see...I am much different from Misery...No matter how similar we appear...
Mirage looks to his minions...
--Mirage-- About my two upcoming matches...I want you to come to ringside with me...
Mutters of agreement travel between the three...
--Mirage-- But...I want you to stay away from Ravager...while he is in the ring...
The three loyal minions complain to eachother but nodd in loyalty to the Mentor...
--Mirage-- Wonderful...now that that is settled...go into the training room...train longer...Kar! Stay...
Kar stays behind, as instructed, as Bio and The Nameless One enter the training room...
--Mirage-- I believe you are familiar with the tale of "The Great One"?
--Kar-- I don't think so, Mirage...
--Mirage-- Well...The Prophecy was told in Three Parts...One part every three years...
--Kar-- Yes?
--Mirage-- The First year, a great King foretold of a prophecy that would be clear to him in Nine Years...The Third year...the prophecy consisted of one word...
--Kar-- Yes?
--Mirage-- Namelessness...
--Kar-- (gasps) You mean The---
--Mirage-- No questions! After the Sixth Year, the prophecy had continued in Two...Rapid Progression...
--Kar-- (silence)...
--Mirage-- And finally, after the Ninth Year...The King had completed the prophecy with a single word...
--Kar-- And, that final word?
--Mirage-- Betrayal...
--Kar-- So...you believe---
--Mirage-- It doesn't matter...It will become more clear to you in the end...You have been most loyal to me, Kar...Above all...I want you to remain loyal to me...
--Kar-- Yes, Mirage...
Master and Apprentice look to eachother, respectfully as the lights fade to black...
